Education and Health Are the CM’s Top Priorities, Says Chennai Mayor

Chennai Mayor R. Priya emphasized that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin views education and healthcare as his two most important priorities, likening them to his “two eyes.” The mayor made these remarks during a civic event in the city while highlighting the government’s initiatives aimed at strengthening these sectors.

Mayor Priya praised the CM’s vision, stating that under his leadership, significant improvements have been made in both public health infrastructure and educational institutions. “The Chief Minister is deeply committed to the welfare of the people, and education and health are the cornerstones of his governance model,” she added.

The state government has recently launched several programs to upgrade government hospitals, improve public health services, and enhance the quality of education in government schools and colleges. These efforts have been widely appreciated for their impact on the welfare of the common people.
