The Eastern Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) has called for a concerted effort to make the Bhagalpur zone a crime-free region. During a recent review meeting, the DIG emphasized the importance of proactive policing and enhanced public engagement to curb criminal activities.
He directed local law enforcement to focus on resolving pending cases, intensifying patrols, and addressing public grievances promptly. The DIG also stressed the need for community participation in crime prevention and urged officers to maintain strict vigilance in vulnerable areas.
“Ensuring public safety is our top priority, and all efforts must be made to establish Bhagalpur as a model of law and order,” the DIG stated.
This directive aligns with ongoing initiatives to bolster security and instill confidence among residents, as authorities strive to create a safer environment in the region.
