NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of Eid, expressing hope that the festival would strengthen the spirit of unity, harmony, and compassion.
Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, “Eid Mubarak! May this festival enhance the spirit of hope, harmony, and brotherhood in our society. Wishing everyone happiness, peace, and prosperity.”
President Murmu also conveyed her wishes, stating, “On the joyous occasion of Eid, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all. May this festival inspire us to foster kindness, empathy, and harmony in our society.”
Leaders across the political spectrum echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the festival’s significance in promoting unity and goodwill.
