DEOGHAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft encountered a technical issue on Thursday at Deoghar Airport, prompting a change in travel plans. Following the snag, the Prime Minister returned to Delhi aboard an alternate plane, officials confirmed.
The incident occurred after PM Modi’s visit to Jharkhand for various developmental projects and public engagements. Authorities acted promptly to ensure his safety and a swift resolution to the situation.
Airport officials stated that the technical glitch was identified during routine pre-departure checks. As a precautionary measure, a standby aircraft was arranged to facilitate the Prime Minister’s journey back to the capital.
Security protocols were intensified during the transition to the alternate aircraft. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) assured that the issue was managed efficiently and emphasized their priority on safety measures.
PM Modi’s visit to Deoghar included the inauguration of several infrastructure projects, along with interactions with local leaders and the public. Despite the disruption, officials confirmed that all scheduled engagements were completed as planned.
