‘Reflects AAP’s Commitment’: Kejriwal Calls Projects Launched by PM Modi a ‘Joint Effort’

Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Delhi government and the Centre, describing the recently launched projects by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “joint ventures” that reflect his government’s commitment to progress.

Speaking at a press briefing, Kejriwal said, “The development projects unveiled by the Prime Minister demonstrate the effective partnership between the AAP-led Delhi government and the central government. It underscores our shared dedication to improving infrastructure and public services for the people of Delhi.”

Kejriwal emphasized that many of these initiatives were conceptualized, planned, and partially funded by the Delhi government. “The active participation of the state government in these ventures showcases our resolve to work beyond political divides for the welfare of citizens,” he stated.

This statement comes amidst a backdrop of frequent clashes between the AAP government and the Centre. Kejriwal’s remarks signal an attempt to highlight the contributions of the Delhi government while also acknowledging the Centre’s involvement in executing these projects.

Critics, however, have viewed the comments as a strategic move to take partial credit for the achievements amid the growing political spotlight on infrastructure and development in the capital.
