Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning, stating that any remarks made against any religion will be met with strict legal action. This statement comes in the wake of a controversy sparked by inflammatory comments made by priest Yati Narsinghanand about the Prophet Muhammad.

Addressing the situation, CM Yogi emphasized the state’s commitment to maintaining peace and harmony. “No one has the right to hurt the sentiments of any community,” he said. “If someone makes disrespectful comments about any religion, they will face consequences under the law.”

The controversy erupted after Narsinghanand, known for his controversial speeches, made remarks that many found offensive towards Islam. His statements led to public outcry and demands for action from several quarters. CM Yogi’s response indicates that the state will take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of religious discord.

CM Yogi also reiterated the importance of respecting all religions and ensuring that communal harmony is upheld at all costs. He urged people not to engage in provocative actions that could disrupt the peace and order of society. “Our administration is dedicated to ensuring justice, and no one will be spared if found guilty of inciting hatred,” the Chief Minister added.

The situation is being closely monitored, and further action is expected as investigations into the incident continue.
