NEW DELHI: U.S. President Joe Biden expressed high praise for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, emphasizing his pivotal role in advancing the Quad alliance. Speaking during a recent international engagement, Biden remarked that Modi’s efforts would propel the Quad far “beyond November,” referring to the upcoming leadership transitions in several member countries.
The Quad, an informal security alliance between the U.S., India, Australia, and Japan, has gained momentum under Modi’s stewardship. Biden acknowledged Modi’s vision for strengthening the Indo-Pacific partnership, particularly in areas such as security, technology, and regional stability.
“Modi’s leadership goes way beyond just meetings and summits,” Biden said, further adding that the Quad’s trajectory under Modi’s guidance will continue to shape global geopolitics long after the current terms of leadership in member countries have ended.
As the alliance continues to tackle key challenges, including regional security and economic cooperation, Modi’s contributions are being hailed as transformative in solidifying the Quad’s future vision.
