New Delhi: Yograj Singh, former cricketer and father of Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh, once again voiced his displeasure with former India captain MS Dhoni. In a recent interview, Yograj expressed that he “won’t forgive” Dhoni for what he perceives as an injustice done to his son, particularly concerning Yuvraj’s exclusion from the national team during Dhoni’s captaincy.

Yograj has been outspoken in the past, accusing Dhoni of influencing team selections and sidelining Yuvraj during crucial stages of his career. He reiterated these sentiments, claiming that Dhoni’s actions impacted Yuvraj’s opportunities in international cricket, especially during the latter part of his playing days.

Yuvraj Singh, who was instrumental in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ICC World Cup victories, enjoyed immense success under Dhoni’s leadership but also faced several challenges, including health issues and inconsistent form, which affected his career. Despite Yuvraj’s attempts to make a comeback, his exclusion from the team remained a point of contention for his father.

While Yuvraj himself has maintained a relatively diplomatic stance on the matter, Yograj has continued to publicly criticize Dhoni, reflecting a lingering tension between the families.
